Together with Da Hong Pao and Shui Xian, Rou Gui is one of the three basic varietals of Yancha. Due to our dedication to Yancha of high quality and high cost-performance, we provide our beloved tea drinkers with all these basic varietals at the best prices.

As the saying goes, “Nothing can be more aromatic than Rou Gui, nor anything tastier than Shui Xian”, although actually aromatic new varietals are abundant, Rou Gui is considered as the most aromatic Yancha among the traditional varietals, and as is our 2020 Rou Gui. It is classic and outstanding, with the iconic cassia (or cinnamon) note and other typical features of the varietal. The round and oily tea soup keeps a strong flavour throughout many infusions and leaves a hint of a spicy feeling in the mouth. It’s an excellent choice for daily drinking and also a great sample for Yancha beginners to learn more about the classic Rougui from.
