Jiang Po Ni means slope clay, the name comes from how it was found accidently. In the early 1990s, the government of Yixing decided to build a road, by chance this rare clay was discovered under the slope between Yellow Dragon Mountain and Green Dragon Mountain. It is a paragenesis of several clays like Duanni, Hongni, Zini etc. After firing it forms a very rich granular texture full of yellowish grains under the fine and oily surface, just like pear skin.

This Gong Deng pot is elegant and classic, perfect for a Gongfu Cha tasting session among 1-4 people. Suitable for all kinds of Oolong, Puerh, Heicha etc., especially ideal for the teas of large leaves, due to the roomy inner space.
